Corrections Corporation of America Announces Date for 2005 Annual Meeting of Stockholders

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 23, 2005--Corrections Corporation of America (NYSE: CXW), announced today that it will hold its 2005 Annual Meeting of Stockholders at 10:00 a.m., Central Time, on Thursday, May 10, 2005, at the Company's Corporate Headquarters, 10 Burton Hills Boulevard, Nashville, Tennessee. The record date for common stockholders entitled to notice of, and to vote at, the annual meeting has been set for Monday, March 28, 2005. The matters to be considered at the meeting will be set forth in the proxy materials to be filed by the Company with the Securities and Exchange Commission and to be distributed to the Company's stockholders.
