CCA Selected for the Continued Management of Two Contracts From the State of Texas

CCA (Corrections Corporation of America) (NYSE: CXW), the nation's largest partnership corrections provider to government agencies, announced today that pursuant to a competitive re-bid it has received contracts for the continued management of CCA's Mineral Wells Pre Parole Transfer Facility and CCA's Bridgeport Pre-Parole Transfer Facility from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ). Under the new contracts CCA will manage up to 2,100 male inmates at the Mineral Wells facility and up to 200 female inmates at the Bridgeport facility.
The contracts, which commence on September 1, 2011, have a two-year base term and contain two (2) two-year renewal options, or up to six years if all renewal options are executed. All other terms of the contracts remain essentially the same as the current contract. CCA has managed populations for the TDCJ at both facilities since 1995.
